Richard Bruce Cheney (/ˈtʃeɪni/ CHAY-nee;January 30, 1941 – November 3, 2025) was an American politician and businessman who served as the 46th vice president of the United States from 2001 to 2009 under President George W. Bush. His tenure was often called the most powerful vice presidency in American history, with many pundits and historians noting that he was the first vice president to be more powerful than the presidents they served under. Cheney previously served as White House chief of stafffor President Gerald Ford, the U.S. representativefor Wyoming's at-large congressional district from 1979 to 1989, and as the 17th United States secretary of defense in the administration of President George H. W. Bush. He was also considered by many to be the architect of the Iraq War.

Portrayal

Nothing is really that known about Cheneys personality since he only appears once in the show, in one of the many Arnie and George sketches where the two laugh that Cheneys first name is “Dick”. Another reason he wasn’t used a lot probably has to do with his role as Bush’s right hand man, and someone to play off of is taken up by the Unnamed General.
